Jeff Cohen is a recognized and honored HR and leadership development authority. He has introduced numerous innovative techniques now considered the norm in executive coaching.
Areas of Expertise
Executive coaching, coach-the-coach, psychological assessments, OD/training, including group facilitation and team-building, conflict resolution, design of 360-degree feedback and other instruments as well as creation of performance and organizational change management processes. He assists individuals in their career assessment and choice, utilizing a battery of multifaceted tests.
The founder of J. M. Cohen Associates over 30 years ago, he provides organizational effectiveness services to companies nationally and overseas. Not only has he designed team and company-wide programs that have excellent ROI’s, but has created a coaching process, Triadic Coaching (TC), that has significantly improved the efficacy of executives.
One notable case is at Johnson & Johnson where he coached the head of a worldwide function. As the executive made significant improvement, Jeff also designed team-building processes and career planning modules for his mostly Ph.D.-educated staff. A second example was that he was chosen from among 250 consultants to coach the founder and other key executives of a services firm in Houston that grew from $53 million to $1.2 billion in only 7 years. A third success: aiding the promotion of a senior Philips executive to Site General Manager and then her promotion to SBU GM two years later. Further, he coached nationally for a consulting firm, assisting new partners in making the transition to ownership ranks.
